Jazz On The River: Wine Tasting

The Russian River Festivals will feature wine tasting from several of Sonoma County’s world famous wineries.

For a nominal additional fee, Festival attendees 21 years and older will be able to taste premium wines from these featured wineries.

Proceeds from the wine tasting will benefit the Sonoma County charity Food for Thought . So help us support this worthy local cause and enjoy premium wines at the same time.

Food for Thought is a private non-profit organization established in October, 1998 and is dedicated to developing a comprehensive nutritional program pertinent to the needs of People Living with Symptomatic HIV Disease/AIDS in Sonoma County.

From their Food Bank located in downtown Forestville, they distribute groceries, nutritional supplements, vitamins and minerals, basic dietary information, concern, caring, and occasional hugs for free to close to 450 clients per year county-wide. All of their clients are eligible to receive weekly bags of groceries.

For those severely affected by AIDS, they also offer a variety of easily-prepared frozen meals. They are the only food bank in the area whose volunteers provide delivery service on a weekly basis to any client who is homebound because of illness or inability to drive.
